Threaded for 1-1/2″ coarse thread (1-7/8″ thread OD) tub drain. Used with bath wastes for direct drain applications. Direct access to trap from tub. Less likely to clog. Do not need access panel with this type of bah waste configuration. Used in multi-unit (apartments, condos, hotels, motels) with back to back baths.
